Ernest J. Robidoux

Ernest J. Robidoux, born March 1, 1940 in Ware, MA passed away at home at the age of 83 on August 22, 2023. Ernie grew up in Ware, where he met his wife Barbara (Winslow) Robidoux who predeceased him in 2017 after sharing 55 years of marriage. After marrying they resided in Chicopee where they happily spent their remaining years.

Ernie began a long career as a chemist and retired as manufacturing manager for Whittaker Coatings. After retirement, he pursued his true passion and worked doing small engine repairs for family and friends.  These services were provided usually with a comedic story and a cigar break. Ernie had many interests and hobbies including hunting and fishing. He was a wonderful father and grandfather devoted as well to his extended family and friends.

Ernie leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved daughter, Lori Silva of Palmer, his granddaughter, Christie Scott (Philip) of Chicopee, 2 brothers, Michael (Lorraine) and Marc  (Laurie) both of Ware, a sister, Claire Kobis of Brookfield, his sister in laws, Rosemary Robidoux of Ware and Carol Koczur of Germantown, NY as well as many nieces and nephews.

Along with his late wife, he was predeceased by his parents Leo and Anita (Gervais) Robidoux, a brother, George Robidoux of Ware and son in law, Richard Silva of Palmer.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
