Frances G. (Grybosh) Maziarz

Frances G. (Grybosh) Maziarz, 91, passed away on June 2, 2025 at Chestnut Hill of East Longmeadow surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Ludlow on February 28, 1934 to the late Albert and Anna (Prokop) Grybosh. A lifelong Ludlow resident, she lived her entire life in the home built by her father. Frances worked for many years as an office administrator for several local companies including Monsanto, Frank Moskal Insurance, Cindex Industries.

An accomplished seamstress, she loved sewing, crocheting, and needlepoint.

The family would like to thank the many caregivers assisting them over the last 10 years and also to Chestnut Hill for their compassionate care given to Frances.

She leaves her children, Kathleen Bachetti of East Longmeadow, Christine Fitzell and her husband Jim of Ludlow, and Richard Maziarz and his wife Donna of Ludlow; her beloved grandchildren, Jenna Huggins and her husband Dan, Kristen MacLeod and her husband Kevin, and Laura Lysick and her husband Dan; her adored great-grandchildren, Carson and Adaline Huggins, Colin and Owen MacLeod, and Emma and Riley Lysick; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Walter and Pat Maziarz along with several nieces and nephews, other extended family members and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband John Maziarz; a daughter Joanne Lizak; her sisters and their spouses, Irene and Stanley Janas, Helen and Victor Orlik, and Mary and Burton Luberda and 2 sons-in-law, Alan Bachetti and Mark Lizak.

Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 2-5pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025 assembling at 9am at the funeral home and proceeding to Christ the King Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Burial will follow at Island Pond Cemetery, Ludlow.
