Mrs. Frances (Zielinski) Pittsinger, 81, of Indian Orchard, Massachusetts passed away from complications with Alzheimer's and dementia on Tuesday, November 4, 2024. She was born in Ludlow, Massachusetts on June 7th, 1943. She spent most of her days as a home healthcare aide providing the best care and support to other families’ loved ones. Prior to retiring, she worked over 25 years helping the mentally disabled for the state of Massachusetts. Frances was a loving and devoted mother, wife, grandmother, and aunt. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, crocheting, cooking but most importantly spending time with her family and spoiling all of her grandchildren.
Frances will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Harry Pittsinger of Indian Orchard, MA. She will be missed deeply by her living sister Clair Bigos; her four children and their spouses Michael (Stacey) Pittsinger, Lorraine (Andrew) Humpel, Glenn (Corrine) Pittsinger, Tammy (Frank) Drury; her two nieces, 12 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. She will be joining her late daughter Brenda Koons, her sister Patty Bousquet, and niece Angela Bigos as well as Frances' parents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield with a Calling Hour from 11am-12pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 12pm. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers we're asking to please make donations to your local animal shelters in her name.
