Georgette Palardis Caron Dupont, 104 years of age was called home on 12/17/23. She was born in Biddeford, ME on November 23 1919, and was one of ten children, the daughter of Wilfrid and Louisa Palardis. Losing her mother at a young age, she and her sisters were placed in St. Andre Orphanage in Maine that was run by the Good Shepherd Sisters of Quebec. She went on to graduate high school while in the orphanage and met the late Fernand Caron and was married on May 29th, 1944.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Fernand Caron in 1972, and her second husband Norman Dupont, and her daughters, Elaine McClain, and Jeanne Croteau. She was also predeceased by her three sisters, Theresa McCarthy, Prudence Dufresne, and Gloria Gregor, as well as her 6 brothers: Wilfred, Albert, Paul, Ralph, Urban, and Jovid Palardis.
She is survived by her son, Paul Caron and his wife Paula, and 7 grandchildren, Marielle Simpson, Matthew Caron, Ryan McClain & Megan Pion, Amy Hoggard, Stephanie Dow and Andrew Croteau and 8 Great grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 6th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Catherine of Sienna Church in Springfield, which will be preceded by a visiting hour at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
