Harriet E. (Webster) Tapper, 69, of Indian Orchard, passed away on April 29, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Springfield, MA on March 10, 1953 to the late Herbert and Ethelyn (White) Webster. Harriet was a medical transcriptionist for Baystate Medical Center and worked most recently in their cardiology department. She enjoyed gardening and loved her cats very much.
Harriet leaves to cherish her memory, her sons: James Tapper of Boston, who served in the United States Army and completed three combat tours during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom and Robert Tapper of Indian Orchard, who has tirelessly worked over six years for CJ’s Towing Unlimited, serving Western MA, providing 24 Hour continuous operations.; her brother, Robert Webster, and his wife Laurel, of East Longmeadow; her sister, Geraldine White of Northampton; and several nieces and nephews, other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Jerry Tapper on November 21, 2021 and her sister, Marilyn Boudreau.
Calling hours to honor the lives of both Harriet and Jerry will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 5-7PM at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services.
