With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a remarkable man who faced life- and its greatest challenges- with unwavering strength and optimism.
He was a man who lived life on his own terms, guided by resilience, courage, and a deep appreciation for each day he was given. He met every obstacle with quiet determination and a hopeful out look that inspired all who knew him.
He believed in living fully- finding joy in simple moments, embracing challenges as opportunities, and never losing sight of what truly mattered. His laughter, wisdom, and steadfast presence will be deeply missed.
Above all, he was devoted to the love of his life, his wife Jan, whose heart he held so completely. Their bond was a testament to enduring love, partnership, and unwavering support through both the brightest days and the most difficult moments. That love remains a lasting legacy.
He leaves behind not only cherished memories but also a powerful example of how to face adversity- with dignity, grace, and hope.
Though he’s no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the lives he touched and in the love that will never fade. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
He leaves his loving wife Jan Garneau (Wolski), Mother-in-law Joyce Wolski, two children he was deeply proud of, Laura Bierly and Ted Garneau, Granddaughters Rachel and Courtney, Son-in-law Brett Bierly, Sisters Sandi Rovelli and Jeannie Felton. He was predeceased in death by his Father Robert Garneau, Mother Joan Garneau, Sister Patricia Moreau and Sister Eleanor Garneau, Father-in-law John Wolski. He was loved by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
He will be lovingly missed by his faithful dog, Spencer, who treasured their walks, car rides, and the simple joy of sharing ice cream together. Nothing brought him more joy than his Dachshund buddies.
A Celebration of life will take place at a future date.
