James W. Wagner, 86, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on April 27, 2020. Born in Alicia, PA to the late John and Opal (Phillips) Wagner, he was one of nine children. Following his graduation of high school, James joined the US Military where he made his career as an Aircraft Mechanic for the Air Force for 20 years. He spent his time in the military stationed numerous places throughout the United States, as well as overseas. After retiring from the Air Force, he owned and operated Villa Rose and Park Restaurant where he was able to pursue his love of cooking. James was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for fishing and hunting. While he enjoyed the outdoors, his number one priority always remained the love he showed his family.
James is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lorraine (Gentile) Wagner, and his children William Wagner and his wife Rita of Citrus Springs, FL, Michael Wagner and his wife Sonja of Ashburnham, MA, Debra Kielbasa and her husband Gary of Ludlow, MA, his sister Connie Barb of Pennsylvania, his five grandchildren Justin Wagner, Ashley Pavone, Jeffrey Wagner, Chad Kielbasa, Amber Martin, and his seven great-grandchildren Taylor Wagner, Blake Wagner, Jocelyn Wagner, Logan Martin, Max Martin, Violet Pavone, and Juliet Pavone.
