Obituary
Jeffrey Scott Robbins, born March 14, 1951, passed away peacefully at home on April 20, 2023 surrounded by family. He was the son of the late Robert E. and Jeri D. Robbins.
Jeff graduated from Technical High School in Springfield. He received his nursing degree from Springfield Hospital Nursing Program. For over 40 years, he worked as a registered nurse. Jeff had a strong love of working with elders and shared his kindness and concern with gentle dedication. He retired in 2018 from HealthSouth in Ludlow.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 35 years, Forestine Robbins. Jeff is survived as well by his son, James Easler and wife Wendy of Washington, ME, and daughter, Ellie Kidder and husband Mike of Concord, NH, five grandchildren, Jasmine, Jayd, Stephanie, Lucas and Lillie. He also leaves behind his brothers, Keith and wife Debi of Blandford, MA, Robert and wife Lynne of Jericho, VT and sister, Sandra Robbins and husband Chris Mason of Palmyra, PA.
Jeff loved reading and tending his library, listening to music, the Red Sox and his beloved cats, Wilbur and Little Bit.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Westfield Homeless Cat Shelter, 1124 East Mountain Rd., Westfield, MA, 01085.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated for Jeff on Friday, May 12 at 1pm, at the Bethesda Lutheran Church, 455 Island Pond Rd., Springfield.
