Joann (Ptaszkiewicz) Melikian

Joann C. (Ptaszkiewicz) Melikian, 86, of Ludlow, passed away on April 25, 2022 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Wilbraham to the late Thaddeus and Jane (Burek) Ptaszkiewicz on November 8, 1935. 

Joann leaves behind her loving family: her son, Michael Melikian of Wilbraham; her grandchildren: Brandon Melikian of Wilbraham and Michelle Melikian of Ludlow; her great-grandchild, Amelia Grace Melikian; her siblings and their spouses: Eugene and Patricia Ptaszkiewicz , Sandra and Thomas Moquin, Irene and Richard Zaranek, Linda and Joseph Banas, and Mildred Metcolf, all of Ludlow, Dorothy and Raymond McGuire of Enfield, CT, Elaine Murphy of Peabody, and Susan Mitchell of Richmond; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Joann has gone to her rest with her late husband Hamaiag “Bunny” Melikian. She is also predeceased by her brothers: James, Robert, Kenneth, and Thomas Ptaszkiewicz and two sisters: Vera Dunn and Elizabeth Soja.
