Joaquim “Jack” D. Tiago, Jr., 54, died at his Palmer home on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Jack was born in Springfield on March 13, 1971, the son of the late Joaquim and Justina (Rasterio) Tiago. Jack worked as a laborer for Lane Construction and retired after after 32 years of service to the company. He had been a member of the LIUNA Local 596 Laborers Union. He was also a diehard New England Patriots fan.

Jack is survived by his wife Tina M. (Kokosa) Tiago, his children, Joshua Tiago and his wife Emely of Springfield, Joseph Tiago of Three Rivers, and Jenna Zuccarelli and her husband Federico of Chicopee, his four brothers, George Tiago and his wife Diane of East Longmeadow, Eric Tiago and his wife Lorraine of Ludlow, Sidonio Tiago and his partner Rose of Ludlow and Orlando Tiago of Portugal, his three sisters, Maria Trinda Lavigne and her partner Mark of Granville, Aurora Tiago and her late partner Nathan of Indian Orchard and Maria Fatima Stewart and her late husband David of Ware. He also leaves two granddaughters, Aliyah and Shara Tiago, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Calling Hours for Jack on Friday, May 9, from 10am-2pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield.
