Jose A. Da Costa, 73, passed away at home on February 10, 2025 with family and friends. Born in Lisbon, Portugal on January 24, 1952 to the late Antonio Da Costa and Bernadina (Jesus) Da Costa, he immigrated to the United States and settled in Indian Orchard with Mr Zito and Madalena Carvalho. Jose worked as a baker for many years and most recently at Central Bakery in Ludlow (Jack and Benvinda Santos.) He was an avid and enthusiastic fan of S.L.Benfica Football team...(The best one ;) ). A kind and caring person, Ze Antonio will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
He leaves a son, Nuno Da Costa of Ludlow; a grandson, Liam C. Da Costa, of Palmer; a sister, Maria Leonor Simoes of Portugal; nephews Pedro and Monica ; his lifelong friends Dulce Gendreau of Granby; Bela Carvalho and all The Carvalho Family; Manuel Ferreira long time friend and coworker, Maria Fernanda Costa Antunes and Martins, Nuno's mother; Gendreau Family; Bellefleur Family; the staff at Central bakery; along with other family members and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services followed by a Prayer Service at 6:00PM
