Joseph Iwasinski Obituary

Joseph F. Iwasinski, 85, was called safely home surrounded by his family in Palmer on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. Joe was born on February 6, 1936, in Ludlow, MA. He was the son of Joseph M. and Mary A. (Boryczka) Iwasinski. He graduated from Immaculate Conception School and Cathedral High School. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Marion (DePace) Iwasinski on December 16, 2009, and grandson, Army Spc. Kenneth Iwasinski on October 14, 2007.

He leaves two sons: Joseph M. Iwasinski and wife, Rebecca, of Ludlow and Dominick V. Iwasinski and wife, Tawnia, of Belchertown; three daughters: Angela L. Solomon of Monson; Jane M. Flowers of Palmer, and Mary Anne Rogers of Three Rivers and dozens of cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his caretakers: his granddaughter Debra McCarthy and her husband Marc and his dear friend, Thelma Nourse.

Family and friends will fondly remember Joseph Iwasinski as a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a dedicated fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He kept people rolling in laughter, and he even found humor in the most mundane life circumstances. Joseph will be forever remembered for his beautiful smile, gentle eyes, caring heart, loving embrace, and unconditional love.
