Joyce Marie (Robare) Bellucci, 74, passed away May 30, 2024 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Springfield on December 19, 1949 to the late Clarence and Viola (Geffrion) Robare, she was a lifelong area resident and a 1967 graduate of Commerce High School.
Joyce dedicated several years of her life to working as a caretaker for the intellectually disabled, a role that highlighted her compassionate and nurturing nature. For over 50 years, she was the co-owner of Craftsmens Corner Leather Goods Shop in Springfield, working side by side with her husband. An avid reader, Joyce found joy and solace in her visits to the library, where she delighted in finding a good book. Joyce was a true people person, known for her warm and friendly demeanor. She made friends everywhere she went, especially during her almost daily visits to Big Y, where her shopping trips often turned into delightful social encounters. Her famous chocolate chip cookies, made with love and shared generously, were a testament to her loving spirit. Above all, Joyce cherished her roles as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was her world, and she was always there for the ones she loved with unwavering support and affection.
She leaves her husband of 54 years, Gary Bellucci; her children, Anthony “Tony” Bellucci of East Longmeadow, Robert “Bobby” Bellucci and his wife Dorka of East Longmeadow, and Monica Bellucci of West Springfield; her brothers, Michael, William “Billy”, Steven, and John “Jackie” and sisters, Roberta “Bobbie” Burke and Donna Lee; her grandchildren, Anthony Bellucci, Jr. and Sebastian Bellucci, along with several beloved nieces and nephews, other extended family members and many friends.
