Justin Matthew Dearing, 25, passed away unexpectedly on August 24, 2025, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Springfield on August 18, 2000, he was the beloved son of Carolynn R. Dearing and Dale S. Morrison, both of Springfield. A lifelong Springfield resident, Justin was an avid outdoorsman and could often be found hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, or swimming. He cared deeply for animals and wildlife. He most recently worked as a customer service representative for Baystate Medical Center. Justin was loved by all who met him and will be remembered for his adventurous spirit.
In addition to his parents, Justin is survived by his grandparents Mattie Gromacki and Patricia Morrison both of Springfield; his six loving siblings, Carmelo Torres of Springfield, Joshua Torres of Springfield, Joshua Morrison of Belchertown, Ryan Gadbois of Westfield, Brenna Morrison of Belchertown, and Kylie Morrison of Ludlow. He also leaves many friends, including his good friend Doug Goodrich, and other extended family members. He was predeceased by his grandfather Stephen Morrison and his great-grandmother Myrtle Dearing.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours for Justin on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services with a Prayer Service to follow at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Justin’s memory to a charity supporting wildlife, animals, or the outdoors.
