The family of Karen I. “Kay” “Kay-Kay” (Guyette) Dion sadly announces her peaceful passing at her home on September 28, 2022.
Born in Tokyo, Japan, on February 10, 1951, to the late Robert H. and Isabella (McLeish) Guyette. She and her brother, Michael, were the first set of American twins to be born in Japan.
She was a graduate of Commerce High School and employed for 25 years as a Cosmetician and Coordinator at Walgreens Pharmacy.
She was a stubborn, spitfire of a woman who would light up any room with laughter. Her smile shown in her eyes. She left a great and lasting impression with everyone who had the pleasure to have known her. She loved country music and to country line dance. She also loved bowling and crafting. She loved and cherished every moment she got to spend with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family was her everything.
She leaves her husband, Maurice P. Dion, Jr., two daughters, Kimberly Girard and Becky Gaumond, her sister, Leslie Rickson, her four grandchildren, Devon and Christopher Girard and Raven and Zachary Cross, her two great grandchildren, Damien and Aria Girard, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as many great and wonderful friends.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her daughter, Jaime L. Girard, her five brothers, Philip, Kenneth, Robert, Michael, and Dennis, her two sisters, Phyllis Batista and Roberta Hutchins.
She is now at peace and no longer suffering. She will sadly be missed and forever in our hearts.
No memorial service or funeral is planned. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
