Keith A. Walmer

KEITH ALAN WALMER, 62, of Chicopee, MA passed away peacefully on January 25, 2024. Born in Springfield, MA, he was the son of the late John Walmer and Elizabeth Campbell.

Keith was loved and adored by all who knew him. He is survived by his fiancé Lisa Hill of Feeding Hills, MA, his daughters, Melissa Kerby of Jacksonville, FL and Ashley Walmer and fiancé Justin Garcia of Ocala, FL, his two grandchildren, Grayson and Caroline Kerby, and Lisa’s children Austin and Madison Hill.

After high school, Keith served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Sturgeon Submarine. When he left the service, he moved to Gainesville, FL where he worked for Southern Copy Products and fell in love with the Florida Gators. He moved back to Chicopee, MA in the early 90s and worked as a plumber and for the Springfield DPW. Keith was a member of the 28th Masonic District where he was Past Master of the Brigham Lodge in Ludlow, MA, where he loved spending time with his brothers and the people he served.

A Masonic Evergreen funeral service will be held on February 17, 2024, at the Meadows Masonic Lodge on 43 Chestnut St in East Longmeadow, MA at 12:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Keith's name to Shriner's Children's New England, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
