Laurie J. (Zangri) Reedy

Laurie Jean (Zangri) Reedy, 60, passed away unexpectedly on November 23, 2022 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born on May 19, 1962 in Turners Falls, MA to the late Joseph and Wahneta Zangri. Laurie worked at Springfield Medical Associates in their call center for over 14 years. She credited her mother for her excellent cooking skills. As the unofficial cook of the family, she loved organizing the menu for gatherings and had a large collection of cookbooks. She loved the ocean and enjoyed being by the water. Most especially, Laurie loved the time spent with her beloved grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her wife of 8 years, Kathleen Reedy; her son, Joseph Martin of Turners Falls; her brothers, Timothy Vitalis of Martha’s Vineyard and Neil Vitalis of Washington; her grandchildren, Nicolas, Nethanel, Rowan and Noelle, along with other family members and many friends.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 4:00-6:00pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield.
