Linda (Eckert) Geary

Linda Marie (Eckert) Geary, 36, of Palmer, passed away June 18, 2021. Born in Springfield, MA on October 2, 1984 to John and Barbara (Collins) Eckert, she grew up in West Springfield, had resided in Holyoke and for the past 6 years she was a Palmer resident. Linda was an avid camper and loved the outdoors. She worked as a shift supervisor for Dunkin Donuts. She was also a den leader for Cub Scouts Troop 164. Most of all, Linda cherished being a mother and loved the time spent with her adored children.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 10 years, Bruce J. Geary, Jr.; her beloved children, Bradley Fenimore, Lyla Geary, and Mia Geary all of Palmer; her mother, Barbara Eckert of West Springfield; her brother, Raymond Boissonault of Russell; her mother-in-law Terri Geary of Palmer; her father-in-law Bruce Geary Sr. of Sarasota, FL; her sister-in-law Bridgette Geary of Sarasota, FL; her brother-in-law Rocky Geary of Palmer; her father-figure Michael “Grumpa” Wright of Springfield, along with many other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her father, John Eckert.

A gathering to celebrate Linda’s life will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 12-4pm at Chicopee Sportsman’s Club, 381 Batchelor St., Granby, MA 01033. This was Linda’s second home during the summer. There is no dress code; come as you would dress on any other day. There will be catering for food, however there is no bartender so please feel free to B.Y.O.B.
