Lisa Ann (Tippett) Etheridge, 58, of Indian Orchard, died at home on August 15, 2023 with her famiy at her side. Born in Ludlow on January 23, 1965, she was the daughter of Virginia (La Violette) Tippett of Indian Orchard and the late Robert Tippett. Lisa lived in Indiana for several years, but had lived in Indian Orchard for most of her life.
Lisa was an animal lover and volunteered at Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Adoption Center. She was a member of the Honor Guard for the Hurricanes Drum Corp in CT, and a bugler for the Marksman Drum & Bugle Corp. She loved life, and her beloved cat Merrick, and she was a huge Elton John fan.
In addition to her mother, Virginia, Lisa is survived by her son, David Etheridge (Jennifer Wolcott) of Springfield, her brother, Robert J. “Bob” Tippett and his wife Griselda of Tijuana, MX, her sister, Elizabeth Maciolek and her husband Daniel of Chicopee, her grandchildren, Jessica, Reagan and Charlie Wolcott, her nieces, Sherri Maciolek and her son Joel, Kennedy Wolcott, and Arlette Escobar, her nephews, Daniel D. and Matthew Maciolek, Robert Koenig, and Leo Tippett, her favorite aunt Sally La Violette, and many cousins including Kathy Bixby, Joann Tippett and Brenda Burkey and her husband Mel for their wonderful care of Lisa. She was the cousin of the late Anne Marie Tippett.
Funeral Services for Lisa will be held on Thursday, Aug. 24 with Calling Hours at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield from 10am – 12noon, with a Funeral Service to follow in the funeral home at 12noon, and burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lisa’s memory may be made to either the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org or to the Epilepsy Foundation of New England at epilepsynewengland.org.
