Lisa Marie (Ayers) Morrissey

Lisa Marie (Ayers) Morrissey passed away December 3, 2019. Lisa Marie was born February 13, 1968. Born and raised in Chicopee MA, she was a graduate of Comprehensive High School class of 1986. Lisa went to Putnam nursing school and graduated in 1991. She worked as a nurse for more than 20 years, caring for those in need. She was a single mother of two children. Lisa enjoyed camping with her children, taking various trips, and getting “lost” in places. Lisa loved dancing. She took several dance classes with her kids and used to say some of her happiest moments were performing on stage with them. Lisa recently started dancing again with Rising Stars dance Studio. Lisa recently spent her time donating to kids with the Kindness Rocks Project in Sierra Leone, West Africa.

She was predeceased by her mother Betty Ann (Walker) Ayers in 2011. She leaves behind her husband Brian Morrissey of Southwick; daughter Kellie Romaniak and fiancé Miguel of Springfield; son Kevin Romaniak Jr. and his partner Robert of Westfield; her father William J. Ayers Jr. of Chicopee; her brother Tim Ayers of Ware; her sister Lorilee LaBarre of Chicopee; her nieces and nephews, Jonathan LaBarre, Daniel LaBarre, Emma LaBarre, Nathan Ayers, Norah Ayers, and Miley Santiago and her grandson Joseph Wilson. Lisa was a friend of Bill. Lisa had a very caring heart and loved hard. She will be missed by many and all who loved her.
