Mark Henry Beigert, 45, passed away May 21, 2019 at Brigham Women’s Hospital in Boston. He was born in Springfield to William and Diane (Stanfield) Beigert on November 11, 1973. Mark was born and raised in Springfield and was a 1991 graduate of Springfield Central High School. For the past 15 years, he had lived in Colorado until returning home in January of 2019. He was the former owner of Beigert Trucking and had also worked with his father installing laboratories with Modern School Supply. Most recently, he was employed as a warehouse supervisor with Roth Medical in Pueblo, Colorado.
Mark was an enthusiastic Pokéman GO player, enjoyed trips to the casino and attending heavy metal concerts. He was an avid NASCAR enthusiast who loved watching all the races.
He was predeceased by his long-time partner and love of his life, Vickie Knutson who passed away November 15, 2017.
Mark leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Diane Beigert of Springfield and his father, William Beigert of Springfield; his sisters and brothers: Susan Huston and her significant other Dave Niedzwiecki, Amy Goff and her husband Jeff, John Beigert, and David Beigert and his significant other Lindsey Tracy; his beloved nieces and nephew: Jessica, Vanessa, Trevor, Abigail, and Kennedy; Vickie’s daughters, who he considered his own: Kristy Knutson, Kim Knutson, and Tracy Mathis; his best friend, Mike Chessnoe and many other family members and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
