Obituary
Maureen A. (Card) Buccacio, 65, of Ludlow, died February 7, 2023 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Worcester on May 16, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Elliot and Stacia (Marcelionis) Card. Maureen was raised in Worcester and had lived in Ludlow for more than 30 years. She worked as a Service Advisor for several local car dealerships. She was also an avid fan of the Boston Celtics.
Maureen was the wife of the late John C. Buccacio, and she is survived by her son, Derrick Buccacio of Ludlow, her grand-daughter, Ava Buccacio, her sister, Dorothy Hadavi and her husband Mike and their children, Kara & Marcus of Shrewsbury, and her boyfriend Ezzard C. Starks, Sr. and his son Jourdon Starks of Ludlow.
Calling Hours for Maureen will be on Thursday, Feb. 16 from 6 – 8pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield. Maureen’s funeral will be on Friday, Feb. 17, gathering at the funeral home at 9am and proceeding to her funeral mass in St. Elizabeth’s Church, 191 Hubbard St., Ludlow at 10am with burial to follow in the family plot in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
