Michael C. Copeland

Michael Copeland, age 49, passed away  on August 20, 2020. He was born in Springfield on July 25, 1971 to his loving  mother Judith Ford and father the late Frederick Copeland. Mike had been fighting stage four lung cancer. He was able to brighten up a room with his smile, always telling jokes and keeping loved ones laughing and he had a love for baseball caps, sneakers and his favorite football team the Raiders.

Mike leaves four daughters, Brianna, Angel, and Delaney Copeland and Cecilia Robles, beloved girlfriend, Heather Miller; brother, Fred Copeland; and sisters Bernie, Mary and Judy Copeland. Mike will also be missed by his nieces Elsa Sukhram, Alexis and Aaliyah Copeland; nephews Joseph Ford, Johnathan Picard, Matthew Brooks Jr., and Christopher Ford and great nephew Greyson Sukhram. Mike will be fondly remembered by many friends and other extended family members.

Calling Hours for Mike will be held on Monday, August 24 at the funeral home from 6-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Mike on Thursday, August 27 at 10am at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 417 Boston Rd., Springfield. Please meet at the church, and there are no cemetery services. Please observe all COVID precautions with mask wearing and maintaining proper distancing at the funeral home as well as at church.
