Nicole M. (Plumador) Danek

Nicole M.. Danek, 49, of Ludlow, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family after a battle of ovarian cancer. Born in Springfield on March 14, 1972, she is the daughter of Francine (Borowsky) Plumador of Springfield and the late John Plumador, Sr.. Nicole was raised and schooled in Springfield, and had lived in Ludlow since 2004. She loved working at LEGO, and later for G. S. S., Greater Springfield Senior Services. Her greatest joy was her family, her husband and two daughters, and she was a wonderful grandmother who was looking forward to her next grandchild. She also enjoyed gardening and being outside with the hummingbirds.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, David J. Danek, her two daughters, Karlene “Karly” Danek of Ludlow and Christine “Chrissy” LeBel and her husband Nicholas of Springfield, her granddaughter, Abigail LeBel, and her granddaughter, “Rosalie”, who is due in July. Nicole is the sister of John Plumador and his wife Lori of Agawam, Patricia LaMountain of North Carolina, Diane Abare of Palmer, and the late Karlene Plumador, and she is the daughter-in-law of Johanna Danek of Indian Orchard. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a large family and support system that she loved very much, as well as her best friend, Cathy Bessette, whom Nicole’s family would like to offer a “special thank you” for all of her love and help. They would also like to thank Kevin and everyone at Baystate Hospice for all of their care and assistance.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Nicole’s life with a time of gathering on Saturday, May 15, from 1-4pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield, MA, 01151.
