Noreen Elaine (Brown) Marshall

Noreen Elaine (Brown) Marshall, 74, passed away peacefully at home on December 13, 2022. Born in Chicopee Falls, MA on September 6, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Merrill and Mary (Belaire) Brown. She went to school in New Bedford, MA and was a longtime resident of Indian Orchard. Noreen made ceramics and was a wonderful baker. She won first place awards for her excellent pastries and baked goods and created many beautiful wedding cakes. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flower garden. Her greatest accomplishment was taking care of her family as a devoted stay-at-home mother and wife. 

She leaves her children, Randy Marshall of West Springfield, Jarrod Marshall of Ludlow and Laura Marshall of Indian Orchard; her step-children, Penny Lamay of Malone, NY and Maryann Monica of Easley, SC; a sister, Gloria Henrique of Sun Lakes, AZ; her grandchildren, Zack, Alisha, Brandan, Marissa, Dylan, and Devan Marshall, Travis and Liliane Elliot, and Eugene, Heather, and Katrina Robare; her great-grandchildren, Zayvien, Zymir, and Kaiden Marshall, Nevaeh Hernandez, along with many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Noreen was predeceased by her son Shawn Marshall on December 11, 2022. She was also predeceased by her parents, her husband, Gerald A. Marshall; her brothers, Louis and Dennis Brown and her sisters, Loretta Teixeira, Lorraine Demers, and Beverly Cote.

Funeral services will be held together with her son Shawn. Calling hours will be Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 4-7pm and Friday, January 6th from 10-11am. The funeral will be Friday, January 6th at 11am at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield followed by burial at Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
