Patricia Ann (Carr) Celetti, 88, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, in the comfort and care of her home. Born on December 7, 1936, in Hudson, Massachusetts, Patty was the daughter of the late Charles and Ora (Garcia) Carr. She grew up in Hudson and was a graduate of Hudson High School, Class of 1955.
In 1957, Patty married the love of her life, James Celetti, and together they built a life in Springfield, Massachusetts. A woman of faith, she was a longtime member of Holy Cross Church and most recently attended St. Patrick’s Church, both in Springfield.
Patty dedicated many years of her life to caring for others as a nurse’s aide, working in several local rest homes, including Mary Lyon Nursing Home in Hampden.
She had a love for travel and enjoyed taking bus trips throughout New England, always ready for a new adventure. The ocean held a special place in her heart, and she cherished the family’s annual vacations to Charlestown, Rhode Island. She was a voracious reader who loved the comfort of a good book and the peace of quiet moments.
She leaves her children: Annmarie Brown and her husband Thomas of Chicopee, Michael Celetti of Lee, and Steven Celetti and his wife Elizabeth of Chicopee; her grandchildren: Nicholas Brown, Alexander Celetti, and Victoria Heath and her husband Jared; a great-grandson, Oliver Heath; a brother-in-law Thomas Debarge of Deerfield Beach, FL; a sister-in-law Carol Hausamann and her husband Richard of Springfield, along with several nieces and nephews, other extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband of 54 years James; her sister, Eleanor Debarge and her daughter-in-law Terry Celetti.
