Patricia Ann (Mulvaney) Crogan, 83 passed away February 1, 2023 at home surrounded by family. Born in Springfield on March 5, 1939 to the late John and Isabelle (Price) Mulvaney, she was a lifelong Springfield resident. Patricia worked for 20 years at TJ’s Restaurant on Page Boulevard and then retired from Manny’s Appliance. She enjoyed craft making, crossword puzzles, playing Scrabble, and watching Turner movie classics. Most especially, she loved the time spent with her late husband and her grandchildren.
She leaves her children: David Auger and his wife Lee of Houston, TX, Kathleen Saso of Springfield, Thomas Auger of Springfield, and Dennis Auger and his companion Bonnie Scheibelein of Ludlow; 9 grandchildren: Jimmy Maynard, Lauren Durell, Katrina Gehrke, Nicholas Auger, Megan Boggs, Shannon Auger, Colleen Spallino, Dylan Auger, and Paige Auger; a step-son Kevin Crogan and step-grandchildren Christopher, Katelyn, and Coreen Crogan; numerous great-grandchildren, other family members and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; her loving husband of 20 years, Thomas J. Crogan; a beloved son Gary Auger; 2 brothers, Jackie and Ronald Mulvaney; a step-son Thomas Crogan and a step-daughter, Ann McClaflin, and her best friend Gail Melikian.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 from 10am-12pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Indian Orchard followed by a funeral home service at 12pm. Burial will then follow at St. Michael Cemetery, State St., Springfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
