Patricia A. (Martin) Labossiere, 89, passed away May 14, 2026 at Mercy Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was born in Springfield, MA on March 9, 1937 to the late Raymond and Emily (Barnes) Martin. Patsy grew up in the Pine Point neighborhood of Springfield and later spent more than 20 years living in Belchertown. For the past 17 years, she made her home at Mount Marie Senior Residences. She retired from the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority after more than two decades as a toll booth operator. Patsy also generously volunteered at the Jewish Nursing Home. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping, knitting, and trying her luck with the lottery. Independent and spontaneous by nature, Patsy had a warm, outgoing personality and a gift for making friends wherever she went.
She leaves her daughter, Lori Dent and her husband Henry of Ludlow; her grandchildren, Brittany, Ashley, and Matthew Dent; predeceased by her sister, Margaret Brainard, a niece Peggy Brainard and a nephew Raymond Brainard, along with other extended family members and friends.
Special thanks to Mercy Medical Center and the Andy Yee Palliative Care Center for their compassion and care. All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. To offer online condolences, please visit www.nowakfuneral.com.
