Patricia Ann (McNally) Schwartz

Patricia Ann (McNally) Schwartz, 81, passed away in Wilbraham on November 3, 2025 with her devoted son by her side. Born in Springfield on January 11, 1944 to the late Pat and Roie (Vaughn), she was a lifelong Springfield area resident and a 1961 graduate of Commerce High School. Patty was a longtime, faithful parishioner at St. Catherine of Siena Church. After high school in 1961, Patty began work at Springfield Safe Deposit and Trust Co. where she did data processing in checking accounts. She married her Frank and together they shared 41 years of unconditional love. Patty took pride in her role as a mother and her professional life reflected the same compassion and dedication. Her career with the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services spanned 22 years, where her role among many was as an advocate for the differently abled. She was a tremendous cook, especially of Italian cuisine. She was extremely organized and had a profound mind and memory.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children and their spouses, Jimmy and Shirley, Karen and Craig; her brothers, Ricky (Cathy) and Charlie (Debbie); her grandchildren, Kristopher and Ryan; a brother-in-law Richard, along with her angel, Marguerite Suprenant, O.P., and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Jimmy, Timmy, John (Judy), Nancy (Joe), Kathy, and sister-in-law Candy. Patty wishes everyone grace, love, and good will, as well as faith, hope, and understanding.

Calling hours for Patty will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025 from 2:00-4:00pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025 assembling at 9:30am at the funeral home and proceeding to St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1023 Parker St., Springfield for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am.
