Paul Levesque, Sr. Obituary

Paul A. Levesque, Sr., 77, a longtime Belchertown resident, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on March 10, 2022. Born on March 19, 1944 in Worcester, MA to the late Paul E. and Arlene (Bretton) Levesque, he grew up in Brookfield and was a graduate of Tantasqua High School. Paul proudly served in the U.S. Navy Reserves from 1962-1968. He gained a great love and lifelong appreciation for the ocean during his service. Taking out a fishing pole and being by a body of water was one of life’s simplest pleasures. For many years he was a salesman in the wire and cable industry working at various companies including TRW and EIS. Paul was a history buff, especially of WWII.

To cherish his memory, he leaves his children, Paul Levesque, Jr. of Belchertown, Tracy Levesque of Ludlow and Lauri Monte and her husband Shawn of Granby, along with their mother, Linda Spencer; his former wife and best friend, Joyce (Pion) Levesque; his grandchildren, Amber Levesque, Bell Lanou, Breana Monte and Amanda Monte; his step-daughters, Michelle Benoit of Paxton, MA and Nicole Loso of Covington Georgia, along with many friends and his adored fur babies, his cat, Sunny and his late cat Maisey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to honor his love of animals: Second Chance Animal Shelter, 111 Young Road, East Brookfield MA 0151 (online at www.secondchanceanimals.org) or to support veterans and military families: Veterans Inc., 69 Grove Street, Worcester MA 01605 (online at www.veteransinc.org).
