Rachelle E. (Kovitch) Houle

Rachelle E. (Kovitch) Houle, 69, passed away September 6, 2022 at Mercy Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Springfield on August 1, 1953 to the late Charles and Clemente (Girard) Kovitch, she was a lifelong area resident. Rachelle worked at U.S. Envelope and was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was an excellent baker, and loved creating beautiful wedding cakes. She especially loved spending time with her beloved family.

Rachelle leaves her husband of 45 years, Kurt Houle; her daughters, Kimberly Houle of Belchertown and Malvina Houle of Indian Orchard; her siblings, Noella Leblanc of Indian Orchard, Richard Kovitch of South Carolina, Kenneth Kovitch of Maine, and Rita Robidoux of Brimfield; 4 grandchildren, Jonathan, Austen, Kaiden, and Emberly.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022 from 4-7pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield. Funeral services will be held Saturday. Sept. 10th with prayers at the funeral home at 10am followed by burial at St. Aloysius Cemetery.
