Raymond J. Fields

Raymond J. Fields, 79 of Indian Orchard, died June 20, 2024 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Baltimore, MD on Feb. 18, 1945, he was the son of the late Herbert and Alma (Corns) Fields, Sr. He worked as a driver for West Springfield Auto Parts, and had been a member of the Knights of Columbus, Fairview Council #4044.

Raymond was pre-deceased by his long-time partner, Juliette Galica. He is survived by three children, Susan Woodbury and her husband Mark of Indian Orchard, Anthony Fields and his wife Melissa of Chicopee and Katie Furr and her husband Jason of Chicopee, five grandchildren, Tyler, Alyssa, Dominic, Charlotte and Elizabeth, two brothers, Richard and Wayne Fields, a sister, Donna Rooney-Gaj, and Juliette’s daughter Theresa Karam and her husband David of Chicopee.

Funeral Services for Raymond will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 with Callings Hours from 10am-12noon at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield, followed by a Prayer Service in the funeral home at 12noon and then burial in Fairview Cemetery, Chicopee.
