Richard E. Beach

Richard E. Beach, 87, died Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Care One at Redstone in East Longmeadow following a long illness. Born in Springfield on August 27, 1933, he was the son of the late Jay and Hazel (Bishop) Beach. Richard previously had lived in Springfield for more than 60 years. He worked as a machine operator Easco Tools until he retired.

He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret (Hourihan) Beach who died November 1, 2018. Richard was the youngest of thirteen children, all who predeceased him. He is survived by his two step-daughters, Linda Jones of Ware and Joan Ramos of Ludlow, three grandchildren, Cody Hancock, Ashley Hancock and Edward Jones, Jr. and his family, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held privately by his family at the mausoleum in  St. Michael’s Cemetery in Springfield.
