On Sunday, January 9th, 2022, my husband Richard Silva passed away and I lost my soul mate and best friend. Rich was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he served his country and fellow warriors as a field medic. His courageous acts earned him a bronze star with valor and a purple heart. Rich held many managerial positions before starting and running his own business, CGS Enterprises, Inc. which he successfully operated for over 30 years.
Rich was extremely proud of his three daughters; Cynnamon Hebert, Ginger Coffey and Christie Scott and all their accomplishments but his biggest joy in later life were his three granddaughters; Autumn Hebert, Amber Hebert and Irelyn Coffey. He was predeceased by his parents and leaves his wife of 26 years Lori Silva, his children and grandchildren as well as his four sisters and a brother to cherish his memory.
In the months and days preceding his passing, Rich was surrounded by the ones who loved him the most. I would like to thank my friends who helped Rich with the best of care. Melissa, Donna and Laurie you are the angels who walk the earth amongst us. Special appreciation to Rich’s cousin and friend, Gary Silva for all the many wonderful years and fun experiences they shared and for bringing it all back to life with each of his many visits in these last months. To see Rich laugh and smile was a priceless gift, thank you.
Due to COVID concerns, services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
