Robert K. Stetson, Jr.

  Robert K. Stetson Jr., 68, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Stafford Springs, CT on October 6, 1957, to Irene (Kras) Stetson Corn and the late Robert K. Stetson, Sr., Bob was a lifelong resident of Springfield, MA. From an early age, he displayed a remarkable entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic. He spent many years as a self-employed contractor.

Bob enjoyed fishing, boating, and spending time in nature appreciating life's simple pleasures. Often the life of the party, and the tallest man in the room, Bob's larger-than-life personality left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Bob leaves his mother, Irene Corn of Springfield; the love of his life, Darlene (Noe) Stetson and their 7 children: Rachel Drew and her husband William of Holyoke, Hannah Stetson of Springfield, Michael Stetson and his wife Monique of Goshen, Abigail Whipple and her husband Jared of Windsor, CT, Matthew Stetson and his wife Jenna of West Springfield, Gabrielle Stetson and her fiancé Trevor Jeanloz of Vernon, CT and Naomi Stetson of Springfield. He also leaves his beloved grandchildren, William Drew, Graicyn Drew, Margaux Stetson, and Hope Whipple; 3 sisters and their spouses: Susan and Thomas Mayotte of Hampden, Gail and Leonard Murphy of Barre and Lori and Arthur Paradice of Groveland, his aunt, Patricia Lucas of Torrington, CT along with many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and close friends.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker St., Springfield.
