It’s with great sadness & a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Bob Syniec.
Bob worked primarily as a Vocational consultant for many years before retiring. He attended St. Michaels University - New Mexico earlier in life and later received his degree at Umass Amherst.
He was a kind, generous man who had numerous accomplishments In his lifetime but none more rewarding than being “The best Grandpa ever” to Morgan who will forever miss his great big bear hugs. Bob worked very hard to achieve his goals and was always there for anyone in need.
Bob enjoyed the beaches of Cape Cod, everything Chicago especially DA Bears, music, and golfing in his league with “The Dino’s” earning a nickname Dr. V swing. (and knowing Bob it was for reasons we shouldn’t mention).
If you were in Bob’s life, you were family and treated as such. His absolutely crazy antics and stories will forever be treasured by so many just as they were held dear to Bob’s heart for his next journey.
On behalf of Darlene (aka booperina to Bob) and her husband David we would like to acknowledge with sincere gratitude everyone that contributed to Bobs wellbeing over the last years including but certainly not limited to; Rory & Wendy Fitzgerald, Jim & Candy Leydon, Jeff & Lynn Sullivan, Rocky Thompson, John, Debbie & Mary Hogan, Richard &Maureen Neal, Bill & Sheila Foley, and his special friend and caregiver Judie Scott-Seigiel for her tireless daily care. Bob appreciated immensely all of the support he received.
Bob was predeceased by his parents Agnes and Fred Syniec.
There will be no calling hours. Donations in Bob’s memory can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
“Smell the sea and feel the sky. Let your soul and spirit fly
Into the mystic.
And when that fog horn blows you know I will be coming home...”
