Robert "Rob" Keith Donegan

Robert Keith Donegan passed away Friday May 5th 2023 with the comfort and care of his family and friends. Local renowned fashion designer and Chanel makeup artist, Rob was born April 11th 1958 to Monica J. (Keith) Donegan and the late Robert N. Donegan.

Rob graduated from Cathedral High School and received his associate’s degree in fashion design and business management from Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Rob built his life around his passion for fashion and makeup working in Steiger’s, Filene’s, and Macy’s putting his creative talents to work in display, fashion shows and event planning with the likes of Brides Magazine, Mademoiselle and many local events, with the last 25 years as Chanel Counter Manager and makeup artist which was his true calling. Rob owned and operated his own fashion design company Robert Keith Couture which was his dream creating gowns for brides, proms, mother of the bride, Mrs. America, Miss America, Carnegie Hall, Inauguration galas, costumes for theatre, and for many, many friends and clients. Rob was extraordinarily talented, kind and giving which made the world a little more magical and a lot more fabulous.

He will be deeply missed by his mother Monica of Ludlow, his siblings Diane Rock and her husband Jim Brown, Monica Panek and her husband Bob, Alan Donegan and his partner Nancy, six nieces and nephews, his dear friends Lynn and Steven Lapointe, his Macy’s family and many friends.

Funeral services for Rob will be held on Monday May 15th with calling hours from 9:00am-11:00am followed by a blessing and eulogy at 11:00am at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave. Springfield.
