Romuald J. “Aldy” Wosik, 90, of Ludlow, died Friday, June 25, 2021 at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Born in the Three Rivers section of Palmer on Feb. 5, 1931, he was the son of the late John & Sophie (Mikula) Wosik. Aldy was a 1949 graduate of Palmer High School and served his country with the U. S. Navy during the Korean War from 1951-1954. He lived in Three Rivers for most of his life and moved to Ludlow 20 years ago. Aldy worked as a manager in several area department stores until he retired.
He is survived by his sister, Genevieve Kowalik of Ludlow, two nephews, Robert Kowalik of Chelsea and Edward Kowalik and his wife Carol of Plainfield, NJ, a grand-nephew, Edward Kowalik and his wife Maria of Dunellen, NJ, a grand-niece, Krista Kowalik and her husband, Joshua Frisoli of Plainfield, NJ, as well as three great-great-nephews, Joshua Frisoli and Edward and Michael Kowalik.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated for Aldy at Divine Mercy Church, Three Rivers with his burial at the parish cemetery of St. Anne’s Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in his memory may do so to the Divine Mercy Church, 2267 Main St., Three Rivers, MA, 01080.
