Ronald Kane Obituary

Ronald Edward Kane, 93, of East Longmeadow passed away January 17, 2022 at Mercy Medical Center from complications due to Covid. Born in Springfield to the late Robert and Agnes (White) Kane, he was a lifelong area resident. Ron served honorably in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict, achieving the rank of Corporal. He retired from Milton Bradley as a heating and air conditioning repairman. Ron was an accomplished drummer and every Friday and Saturday nights, for 22 years, he performed with The Countrymen at The Villa Rose Restaurant in Windsor Locks, CT. He was a car and motorcycle enthusiast and loved animals.

He leaves his children: Gary Kane of East Longmeadow, Ronny Kane and his fiancée, Theresa Dionne of East Longmeadow and Diane Chamberlain and her husband Scott of Springfield; two grandchildren, Tammy Chamberlain and Randy Chamberlain, as well as a great-granddaughter, Sadie Lillian. He was predeceased by his wife, Lillian “Lily” (Alexopoulos) Kane in 2019 and a sister, Joan Miner.

Burial at Greenlawn Cemetery in East Longmeadow will be held privately for the family.  Services are entrusted to Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services.
