Rosabelle L. (Volff) Dionisi

Rosabelle L. (Volff) Dionisi, 85, of Springfield, died March 23, 2022 at the Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Washington, MA on March 4, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Octave J. and Myrtle L. (Wood) Volff. Rosabelle was raised in the North Adams area where she did her schooling. She had lived in Springfield for the past 63 years. She worked as a hairdresser in local salons, and also for Marshall’s at their store on Boston Rd. in Springfield.

Rosabelle is survived by her husband of 60 years, Carl J. Dionisi, her children, Steven Dionisi and his wife Nelly of Brookline, David Dionisi and his wife Stephanie of Westwood and Susan Ryder and her husband Richard of Somers, CT, her brother, Jimmy Volff and his wife Charlene, her sisters, Laura Sunn, Peggy Thiel and Barbara Volff, nine grandchildren, Tony, Michelle, Megan, Mia, Gabriel, Matthew, Bianca, Dante and Sofia as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Rosabelle will be held privately by her family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Childrens’ Hospital, Memorials Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105-9959.
