Rosalie Parylak Obituary

Rosalie Marie (Cira) Parylak, 71, passed away on March 25, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Ludlow on February 18, 1954 to the late Rudolph and Rose (Skowron) Cira, she was a lifelong Ludlow resident. A devoted member of Christ the King Church, Rosalie was an active participant in the Children of Mary, the Women’s Guild, and served as the coordinator for the Perpetual Adoration Chapel. Her 36-year career as a teacher in Ludlow included roles at East Street School and Veterans School, where she made a lasting impact on countless students. Beyond the classroom, she played an integral role in her grandson’s education. In her free time, Rosalie loved quilting and sewing. She loved cooking and baking, often preparing meals and treats for her family and friends, no matter the occasion. She took pride in her Polish heritage, cherishing the traditions that were passed down through generations. Celebrating these customs, especially during the holidays, was a meaningful part of her life. She will be remembered as a kind and compassionate woman who was always there to help others.

She leaves her husband of 47 years, Raymond Parylak; her sons, Carl Parylak and his wife Heather of Granby and Mark Parylak of Ludlow; a beloved grandson, Dustin Wyatt Parylak; 2 brothers, Rudolph and John Cira, both of Ludlow, along with several nieces, nephews, other extended family members and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents, a brother Frederick Cira and a sister Henrietta Brigada.
