Stacey Gallagher Norton

Stacey Gallagher Norton, 47, passed away unexpectedly on October 18, 2023. Stacey was born in Springfield, MA on May 14, 1976 to Martyn Gallagher and the late Maureen (Haley) Gallagher. She grew up in Springfield and Wilbraham and was a 1994 graduate of Minnechaug Regional High School. For several years she lived in Peterborough, NH where she delighted in working at the circulation desk at the Peterborough Town Library, the oldest free public library. She currently resided in Worcester where she worked as a Registered Behavior Technician with Autism Resources Therapy Center.  Stacey loved working with children with special needs and being a nanny. Her soul found its voice through music and singing, especially the melodies of Alison Krauss. Stacey loved the beach, always drawn to the serene shores, and was a graceful synchronized swimmer. Devoted in her faith, Stacey had a profound love for God.

She leaves her children, Amy Davis and her husband George of Antrim, NH and Andrew Couch of Swanzey, NH; her grandchildren, Isaac and Noah Davis; her father, Martyn Gallagher of Westerly, RI; her sister, Sheila Gallagher of Chicopee; several nieces and nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends, including her close friend Pamela Maki.

Calling hours will be held at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 10am-12pm followed by a Life Celebration at 12pm.
