Stanislawa Bielech Obituary

Stanislawa “Stasia” (Dadej) Bielech, 91, passed away November 17, 2025 at Orchard Valley in Wilbraham. Born in Skrzynka, Poland on March 21, 1934 to the late Stanislaw and Anna (Kogut) Dadej, she came to the United States in 1972. She first made her home in Indian Orchard before settling in Chicopee in 1977. Stasia worked for many years as a machine operator at Smith & Wesson, retiring in 1995. She loved to travel and cruise the world with her beloved husband, visiting many countries and creating memories they cherished together. She was an avid flower gardener and was a great cook, especially of Polish cuisine. Stasia also enjoyed shopping and going out to eat, especially at her favorite restaurant, Applebees.

She leaves a son, Andrew Bielech and his wife Gayle of Myrtle Beach, SC; her cousins Christine and Henry Kaczmarski of Chicopee; longtime friends Lilly and Bogdan Matysik of Texas and their family and Al and Patricia Bogia of Chicopee; a step-granddaughter, Anne Stefanik; nieces Wiesa Wrobel of Braintree, Lisa Kaczmarski and her husband Robert of Chicopee, and Dianne Carbonneau of Auburn, nephew, Wesley Bielech and his wife Ela and their son, Rafael, nephew, Robert Bielech of Poland, nephew, Mariusz Kazmarski of Chicopee, along with several other nieces and nephews in Poland, other extended family members and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Dionizy Bielech, a brother Ireneusz Dadej and a sister Zosia Sleczkowski.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Orchard Valley and Legacy Hospice Care for the compassionate care given to Stasia.
