Stephen Niejadlik Obituary

Stephen R. “Dixie” Niejadlik, 77, passed away at his home on May 25, 2020. Born in Springfield, MA, to the late Edward and Mary (Abramchek) Niejadlik, Stephen was a lifelong area resident. He is survived by his wife Denise (Cyran) Niejadlik, his brother Edward Niejadlik and his wife Paula, his nephews Edward and Robert Niejadlik, and his niece Elissa Eplite.

Stephen worked for the US Postal Service as a mail handler, where he retired after 44 years of employment. As a member of the National Guard himself, Stephen loved volunteering at the Soldiers Home and playing cards with the veterans. Additionally, he was a proud member of the American Legion Post 420, Eagles 404 in Chicopee, and the Tigers Club.
