Terry J. Lambert, 74, of Springfield, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020 at Sixteen Acres Healthcare in Springfield. Born in Springfield on Jan. 29, 1946, he was the son of the late Romeo and Olive (Salls) Lambert. Terry was a lifelong Springfield resident and a graduate of the former Trade High School in Springfield. Terry served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a machine operator for Smith & Wesson and later at Savage Arms until he retired four years ago.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Dorothy (Janik) Lambert, his children, Nathan Lambert and Jessica Guerette both of CT, his step-children, David DuBour, Holly Korzeniowski and Michael DuBour all of MA and Christopher DuBour of Georgia, two brothers, Thomas Lambert of CT, and Jeff Lambert of MA, one sister, Sheryl Cheney of CT, as well as two grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours for Terry will be on Monday, Feb. 10, from 4-6pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Terry’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA, 01701 would be appreciated.
