Thaddeus Przybylo Obituary

Thaddeus Chester Przybylo passed away, unexpectedly, at Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer on March 28, 2025. Ted was born in Ludlow, Massachusetts on March 22, 1937. He was the son of the late Theodore and Anna (Kaczowka) Przybylo and grew up in Indian Orchard.

Ted graduated from Classical High School and earned his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Miami, Florida. While pursuing his studies, he worked at Miami International Airport where he met his future wife, Beverly MacNaull, who was an airline stewardess. They were married, and lived in Coral Gables, FL for several years before returning to Indian Orchard. He later earned his Master’s degree from Springfield College, and for over 30 years, he dedicated his life to education. He spent many years as a Reading teacher at Bellamy Middle School in Chicopee, and even after retiring, he continued working at Sabis International Charter School in Springfield.

Ted proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963, stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. He was a member of the Polish American Veterans Club and a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Indian Orchard. An avid cyclist, Ted enjoyed long bike rides, particularly through Granby and Amherst, and was fond of a favorite ride he had exploring Chappaquiddick with his son.

He leaves his son, Mark Przybylo and his daughter, Stephanie Przybylo, both of Indian Orchard; his good friend, Jimmy Bruno of Lyndonville, NY; other extended family members of the Przybylo and MacNaull families and many friends. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 55 years, Beverly Przybylo who passed in 2020 and his sister, Helen Wade. His family finds solace in knowing that he is at peace and reunited with his family members, friends and pets who have passed.
