Thomas W. Mullaney, 67, of Ludlow, died at home, June 5, 2024, surrounded by his family. Born in Springfield on May 10, 1957, he was the son of the late John and Antoinetta (Santaniello) Mullaney. Tom had lived in Springfield until he moved to Ludlow 30 years ago.
He worked as a roofer for the Union, Local #248 for 30 years until he retired. He was very proud of having built the family home by hand, and loved to be surrounded by his children, grandchildren and extended family. Tom was a humble man who would do anything for anyone, and he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Maralyn A. (Wallin) Mullaney, a daughter, Sara Mullaney and spouse Anthony Filion of Ludlow, a son, Thomas Mullaney, Jr. and fiancé Jennifer Plamondon of Ludlow, his brothers and sisters, Kathy Mullaney of Ludlow, Robert Mullaney of Ludlow, Carol Brown of Hyannis and John Mullaney of Gardner, his grandchildren, Frank Hunter, Seth Drewnowski and Sonny Filion, as well as his two sisters-in-law, Joan Wallin and Alice Napolitan. Tom was the brother of the late Daniel Mullaney.
Calling Hours for Tom will be held on Wednesday, June 12, from 4-6pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, with a Prayer Service to follow at 6pm.
