Thomas A. Roberts

Thomas A. Roberts, 77, passed away March 19, 2022 at Baystate Medical Center. Born In Springfield, MA on January 20, 1945, he was the son of Henry R. Roberts and Anne C. (Knox) Roberts. He was the third of seven children. 

Tom was a graduate of Classical High School, earned a Master’s degree in social work from Springfield College and enjoyed a prosperous career as a social worker for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Tom was predeceased by his parents Henry and Anne Roberts as well as brothers John Roberts, William Roberts and Joseph Roberts.  He is survived by his brother Michael F. Roberts and his wife Monita Roberts of Ware MA, his sister Patricia R. Gootzit and her husband Gary Gootzit of Westfield, MA and his brother James J. Roberts and his wife Paula J. Caira of Washington, DC.  He is also survived by his sister-in-law Jan Roberts of East Longmeadow, MA. Tom had many beloved nephews, nieces, cousins and very special friends in his life.
