Timothy W. Bobala, 42, of Ludlow, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2020 at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Springfield on Nov. 21, 1977, Tim is the son of William S. Bobala of Chicopee and Margaret B. Howes of Springfield. Tim attended Chicopee schools, and was a long-time avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He worked as a chef at Uno’s on Boston Rd., Springfield for 17 years where he will be remembered for being a great cook and a very hard worker. He later worked for three years as a culinary assistant at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley. Tim loved listening to all kinds of music, especially Mike Patton. He loved his family and his friends, and if you were his friend, you were family.
In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by his wife of 14 years, Karolina Bukowski-Bobala, his uncles, Paul S. Howes of Springfield and Kenneth E. F. Howes of Wisconsin as well as his best friends, Ricky Agudelo of Holyoke and Jason Vargas of Chicopee. Tim was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Gladys Bobala, his maternal grandparents, Timothy and Sally Howes, and his uncle Larry Howes.
A public walk-thru visitation will be held for Tim on Friday, Nov. 6 from 4-7pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield. For those who are unable to attend, a live video will be streamed at https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/36454788e.
