Tina M. Fielding, 56, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully at home on February 15, 2023. Born in Springfield on May 29, 1966, she was the daughter of Susan M. (Santos) Fielding of Springfield and the late Donald F. Fielding. She had been a resident of Ludlow for the past 15 years. Growing up, Tina lived in Springfield and was a 1984 graduate of Cathedral High School. She later returned to school and graduated from Springfield Technical Community College where she received her Associate Degree in Nursing, becoming a Registered Nurse. Tina was known for her kind heart, cuddling with her grandbabies, green thumb and baking. Family and friends would look forward to long talks, fresh vegetables, delicious pies and many a variety of Christmas cookies. Tina enjoyed holiday and family gatherings, where the kids could count on “crazy” Auntie Tina for fun and games. Tina took a special interest in the Native American Culture. She felt most at home in nature, camping, soaking up the sun on the beach or fishing with her grandchildren. For several years Tina had been a very active member and volunteer at the Moose Family Center in Chicopee, MA. She participated in many charitable events raising funds for the local community and Moose Charities. The meals she cooked and served there were enjoyed and praised by all.
Tina was predeceased by her daughter, Kristen Walsh in 2019. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Andrea Murphy and husband Army Major Ryan Murphy of Honolulu, HI, her son, Aaron Harris of Ludlow and girlfriend, Sinead Tinker, her sister, Sandra Fielding and husband Keith Worthy of Springfield, her brothers, Donald Fielding of Springfield, and Edward Fielding and girlfriend Michelle Sisko of Springfield, her cherished grandchildren, Luken, Liam, Ryland, and Aeris Rose Murphy, and her companion Tom Anderson of Chicopee. Tina is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and her beloved pets, Cyrus & Smokey.
Relatives and friends may gather to remember and celebrate Tina’s life on Thursday, Feb. 23 from 5pm - 6:30pm at Nowak Funeral & Cremation Services, 15 Ludlow Ave., Springfield with a celebration of life to follow at 6:30pm.
